(Francis Alick Howard) born 6 March 1917 in York, died 19 April 1992 - British comedian and cabaret artist. Best known for The Lady Killers, series Carry on..., The Great St.Trinian’s Train Robbery, Jumping for Joy, Further Up the Creek, A Touch of the Sun. During World War II, was appointed to the British Army, where he served in the field of
artistic teams. The cause of his death was a virus, which brought in 1991, with an exotic trip over the Amazon. Died during the same weekend as fellow comedian Benny Hill.
